[above: this photo was achieved by my lack of normal sleep. this was
taken at about four in the morning, i walked into the sitting room
and sat down, and before I switched the telelvision on I saw the
window and ran to the bedroom to grab my camera. And using the
glow of a street lamp to create the effect of sunrise as it shone
behind some plants in the window]

[above: as I was walking back home one day I saw a huge plume of
smoke in the background and I had my camera on me and decided to
investigate. As I ran down the hill to see what was going on, I heard
a siren of a firetruck. As I turned around, I went to take the shot and
then decided to unfocus and this led to the image above, which is far
more intersting than the photo I amost took] [The firemen were
alright with me taking pictures and were quite a laugh]

[above: this photograph was taken at a gig I went to some time ago,
the person in this photograph is a friend of mine called Mark. Because
I have photographed alot of gigs I find that I get bored quite easily.
Not with the music, but the photographs that I'm taking so after a
while it no longer becomes about capturing an image of the musician,
but getting the image itself]

On Sunday, not only did [Little
Green Book] have its first [sort
of] gig. But on the myspace we
broke a thousand plays.
Something, which,[as well as the
gig] I didn’t honestly think that
would happen.
Like I believe I said on the night
of the gig;
“I don’t think it was ever meant
to get this far”
But hey.

So the gig was on Sunday and
although I was nervous that
completely went away. Really.
After work Andrew dropped me home
[thanks mate] and as I got in I realised
my lil bro wasn’t indoors but has left
behind the jeans he had bought for me.
[they cost all of £3, but there not that
bad, lol].
I also saw the setlist that my lil bro
had been working on, I say set list.
It was more a list of songs that we
should have done [in no particular
order]. He then came home and we
left to get on the train.
And because I didn’t actually know
the words to half my own songs I
spent the train ride writing down
the words.
We met up with Andrew outside Maze
Hill Station and made our way to the
pub. When we got to the Vanburgh
[pub in Greenwich] there was a guy sound
checking and he was actually all right.
The night turned out to be [as described
by the promoter] a paid rehearsal, but
hey, I got a fun time, a jokes gig and
a bit of money. Hopefully the seven
people who were there enjoyed it.
[photos will be on this blog before
and i would like to say thank you
to Andrew for the photography]
[oh and by the way, I wear size
twelves] [lol]
